Sugar cane

This field of sugar cane towering above some banana trees is at the end of the second bush labyrinth maze on the way into the last botanical garden at the Isla Margarita's Tropical Labyrinth. The huge sugarcane stands about 20 feet in height. Tourists were fed some sugar cane drink while we there in the botanical garden park, but I did not ask if it was grown there (possibly not, as the sugarcane juice drinks can also be bought in towns as it is freshly squeezed on the back of trucks with a large automatic press).
