Toucan

Laberinto Tropical rescue and care for many different kinds of exotic birds and animals, such as this Toucan bird. Here is just one of the three Red-billed Toucans we saw. These particular birds are in large wire-mesh cages, but be careful not to get too close with anything in your hands, though. One of my friends did, and to his surprise had his admission ticket stolen out of his hand. The toucan's long beak can just fit through the wiremesh several inches, and the ornery bird was quite delighted as he shredded his new paper toy all over the cage (luckily no one ever asked to see the ticket).
