Margarita Island is greatly blessed with an abundance of glorious sunsets. Few people stay on the island for a week without at least having one or more opportunities to see one IF they are watching at the right time. The best places to view them are usually Juan Griego Bay, or the Western end of the Macanao Peninsula. This photo was taken from the opposite (Eastern) side of the island near the entrance to the Allegro Lagunamar Resort, so is not as extensive in sky coverage. However, the intensity of the center portion is very strong due to the position of the mountains. |
