Most people find driving to be the most difficult experience on the island. This is because Margaritan folks have a totally different outlook on driving and 'laws of the road'. You will need to use your seat belts, and remember to drive on the right-hand side. The rule of thumb is that the right-of-way belongs to whoever gets their vehicle's 'nose' out in the intersection first. Also, though there are not many, watch for such things as trees growing in the middle of the road (such as is pictured here). |
