Margarita Island has numerous beaches, and many different kinds. The most popular is playa El Agua in the north part of the island. It is about 2 1/2 miles long beach with fine sand, and has lots of restaurants. Other well-known ones are playa Caribe (north of Juangriego), playa Guacuco, playa Manzanillo, and the windsurfing beach at El Yaque.

These Caribbean beaches (or playas) are just waiting for YOU! The name Isla Margarita means "a pearl" - and truly this island with the beautiful beaches, beautiful sunny weather, and happy friendly people is a pearl in the Caribbean and worth your visit!
